Underground Cabinet 600x600mm IP68

Underground Cabinet 600x600mm IP68

The cabinet takes up a reduced portion of the road and is located underneath a cast iron cover with a minimum size of 60x60cm.
It consists of a fixed container and a movable part, with its roof serving as closing lid.

The equipment rack is hung on this very lid.
It is built with a AISI 304 stainless steel sheet and painted on the outside with a bituminous-based compound.
The cables inlet has buffered metal sleeves which are placed in the lower part, near the base. Inside the base, a free space is designed for allowing dispersion.

Two finned profiles for passive heat dissipation are installed on the lid.
The rack is mobile: it is lowered inside the container in closing position and raised during the opening for a four-side access to all the elements.

It neatly contains the power supply elements, including the distributor's meter and the telephone elements with the transmitting devices.
The central part allows the access to the automatic system that lowers and raises the rack, which generates the operation of closing and opening of the cabinet.
The automatic system is activated manually through a crank and/or through a battery screwdriver for a quicker process.

The cabinet is designed for direct street burial and/or direct ground burial.
Street cabinet:
The installation is performed by using existing street cabinets and/or if new ones must be laid for different needs.
The street cabinet can be 90x70cm + 125x80cm. Ground:
A simple square section structure is added, with L-beams (equal sides) in Fe 510 steel, arranged vertically at the corners of the square, connected to each other at the end, loaded at the tip for the support of the D400 60x60cm cast iron cover with relative accidental loads.
For an easy installation, the structure is anchored on a reinforced concrete base (80x80cm, thickness 10cm), which rests on the bottom of the excavation.
